It appears they are setting up 2025 to be a "Big Deal" season.

Renovations will be largely complete
New Turf
New Uniforms
Possibly a new name
New championship signage- at least SEC
Records Crowds
Even tougher tickets to get
Excellent home schedule likely.

Why would you want them to dig a few feet down to add dugouts? Purely nostalgia? Or are there pros that I’m not thinking of? I’m not trying to be smart, I’m genuinely curious.

I don't want them, but you do get more fans closer to that field for premium seats.

There's rumors of possible corporate branding/renaming to help pay for the renovations.

I am jealous of American Conference playing their tourney in Clearwater.
Beats the hell outta the armpit of the south in Alabama.
If you're going to make kids play a meaningless tourney, at least be near the beach.

2) Are they putting in dugouts?
3) Any chance we lose the turf? (hate that we don't have grass)

I’m fine with the green turf, but I absolutely hate the brown stuff…it should be dirt.
