Anyone think that Hawaii can pull off a huge upset? I will be rooting for them loudly tomorrow night, despite my entire wife's family being sc fans.

They will be destroyed. Kiffin will be looking to make a statement that USC is still USC.

I don't think they will win either, but it's always a tough place to play

I can understand not liking him... but Kiffin is a good coach and has inherited a much more talented offense at USC than he had at UT. Expect a passing clinic.

You're gonna have to wait a little longer from karma to show up. Not this weekend.

Almost started a thread for this but I'll post it here.

Would USC ever declare its independence? ‘You have to consider every alternative,’ Haden says - USC : The Orange County Register

USC an independent? Haden says he'd consider it - WeAreSC Forums

Has to be one of the dumbest fan bases in the country. Every once in a while I'll lurk and check out a few of the comments. Basically, they think the world revolves around them and talk crap about everything not USC/Los Angeles. Now, they think they should go independent and Pac 10 should continue letting them play the rest of their sports in the Pac 10. Yeah right... I hope they do leave just so they end up playing basketball and baseball in the WAC or WCC. Dumbasses.

Although I know it won't happen, I really hope Hawaii beats them tonight. All of their fans are predicting a 70-0 victory and 13-0 or 12-1 season. The arrogance and stupidity is unreal.

SC by 30+. Hawaii significantly fell off the map after Jones left for SMU.

They only play 2 ranked teams this year. 12-1 is very possible. Be patient my friend their tme is coming....

He's a coach, a wealthy coach, an obnoxious coach, a classless coach, a selfish coach, a loudmouth coach but he has done NOTHING that makes me think of him as a good coach.

Not to defend Kiffhole but if he had a real kicker, Tennessee would have beaten Alabama in Tuscaloosa.

Two walks on starting on the o-line...

I won't defend him either and, according to ESPN, if the vols had scored more points than bama then they would have beaten bama. I'm pretty sure the same goes for the ucla, va. tech and ole miss games.

Okay fine. I'll put it like this... If Kiffin was coaching the Gators and Meyer was coaching the Vols, Kiffin would have steam rolled Alabama and Meyer would have lost even worse to Bama. Same with Tennessee vs. Florida. Kiffin would have beat the Vols by more than 10. Period.

yeah, this won't be close. wishful thinking never hurt, though.

Agreed. Hawaii's only chance is putting points on the scoreboard. They won't stop USC's offense very often and they are going to need turnovers on defense because I don't see many three and outs.

I know, I know. I want Hawaii to win as much as you though. I don't see it happening but I want it.

Edit: In response to Sam. His post disappeared.

Can't argue with that kind of logic.

Now, what if monte's kid coached the Vikings, Meyer coached the Yankees, and saban coached the Celtics ?

Who would win ? I'd take the Red Wings.
