I would say that if we had beaten LSU you could make an argument for TN as one of the teams playing above its talent and depth level.

Who is playing the worst relative to their talent and depth?

My clear #1 is Texas.
My #2 is UGA
and #3 is ND. I think ND ends up 6-6 and that is against a schedule that just is not that hard. They have so many more stars recruiting wise than Utah it is silly, but I do not think it will help them.

I would say that UF if it loses to LSU and South Carolina (which I think is possible) would join the above group.

Who do you put in the group of biggest underperformers?

Now I can maybe get the Georgia one but the rest of your list has got to be a joke. You do know UNC has lost a good chunk of their team right?

I hate tell you it's impossible for ALL teams to go undefeated. You guys have unrealistic and impossible expectations. The Vols will never live up to this billing.

Don't be an idiot. I'm talking about the play on the field relative to the talent level.

Don't be an idiot, heck, Alabama looked like **** for 3 quarters against Arkansas, so what they are good football team.

Under performing would be having that talent and losing.

I mean if you had said Texas, I would maybe be in agreement with you.

so therefore before last sat usc wasn't underperforming? sometimes you see the handwriting on the wall.

I think you have unrealistic expectations. You don't pick teams that are undefeated and only lose1 game and say they are under performing. USC is not going to win a NC this year with or without Lameo, why do you think Carroll left town?

Teams have to lose somewhere, or they would have to all end in a tie. And if Washington hadn't pulled it out against USC you could say they are under performing.

As far as LSU, the offense is horrible, the special teams and defense is top notch, real test this week, I give the edge to Florida. I was expecting 3-5 losses this year and I figure we end up with around 3.

i don't think it's unrealistic to think USC should beat hawaii and minnesota by bigger margins and beat washington at home. there are at least 30 teams in the country that could do that.

Are you going to tell us, based on their talent, LSU's offense isn't underperforming?

Im not kidding at all Droski. We've got a senior pre-season All American qb who has a severe case of the yips. We have a defense thats lead by another Pre Season All American who only has 6 sacks thus far. Sherman has been here long enough to recruit his guys, and he made a helluva hire when he got Tim Deruyter.

We're supposedly one of the best offenses in the land and had to come back against FIU at home. We had Okie Lite whipped, and coughed the ball enough to keep them in the game.

3-1 is 3-1 but look at the three and look at the one. Point blank, we should play to the level of talent thats supposed to be out there. Thus, we should have hung the speed limit on FIU and LaTech, and we should have been able to maintain the lead in Stillwater last Thursday.

Now we have to face a motivated Arkansas team in Dallas that embarrassed us last year. We'll "underperform" again if we continue to turn the ball over.

TX was already said. They clearly belong.

AL is likely the best team, but is seriously young in some spots and can't mask it forever. OBTW, Arky has one of the beat offenses in the country.

I wouldn't put LSU as high on that list as BPV but LSU has the kind of talent that can compete for BCS championships but their play on the field more resembles a team that can compete for 2nd or 3rd in their division.

A 3 point home victory over Virginia was equally as bad.

Not sure about the entire list, but my #1 pick is obviously LSU. Undefeated or not, with their talent and depth there is no reason they should have any single digit margins of victory.

Texas is another obvious choice.

I wasn't ranking them. They have loads of talent and our squad essentially beat them at home. Luck saved their asses, but that was pathetic.

Right now they are winning in spite of their coach but as the grumblings get louder they too will eventually lose faith in him (if they haven't already).

I think the Offense is ran by a retard. Either way you never say a 5-0 team is under preforming. All these people and their stats crack me up.

What are your thoughts on Sherman? I pretty much think he's a joke, but would like a college fan's take on it.

When Cart and his fishing buddy left Austin proper, Mack's cupboard became empty. They're doing exactly what I expected them to do this year. The brand name they have makes it look worse.

Yes. They have been awful most of the season. Hell, they don't even come up in conversations about who might beat Oregon.

Actually, Tennessee has had just as good recruiting classes as Texas over the last 9 years.

You guys and your stats.
