Willie Mack Garza resigns at USC today

Let the speculation begin, but to resign mere days before the start of the season can't be good. I recall him having alcohol or substance abuse problems in the past?

Hope he gets his life together.

Now that's an entertaining and dysfunctional situation. Couldn't happen to a better coaching staff and program. Trying to hold back my tears.

Actually I think it is relevant in the UT Football forum. If Fulmer got a job some where else I don't think it would be in the NCAA forum.

Hardly the same to compare an assistant here for one year to a head coach who was here for 16 and won a NC...

Who cares about USC or Kiffin......let it go people

It's not a facet of emotional ties per your rhetorical reference to "caring" but more of an entertainment factor in that someone that certainly did not do a lot to instill prolonged stability in Knoxville is suffering continued instability where ever they go. Thus, good for us.

It's the point. He did coach for the University of Tennessee. It is a little different than someone who has never coached here. It has UT football relevance.
