Why are so many people in love with this team? For one if they were in the SEC we wouldn't hear about them. Another thing they really don't have as many good players as people think. Ex: when they move on to the pros they become busts more often than not. Ex B: Emmanuel Moody transfers to Florida after being a factor back at USC and can't make it off the practice squad. He also looks slow. Its terrible that they save them every year from playin a marquee SEC team. Why schedule Aurburn and Arkansas. How aboutthey schedule Georgia, Florida, LSU, Tennessee. This is getting terrible. Instead of playing Georgia in the BCS bowl they sent the Pac-10's baby brother Hawaii to take the whoppin. Others thoughts on this all universe team are welcome.

I doubt that you could find 5 educated college football fans across the nation to agree with you.

USC's defense has at least equal speed to Miami's and 10x more talent on it. I'd say Miami made that Florida highpowered offense look somewhat pedestrian for most of the night Saturday.

The SEC is dominant.

USC sucks....they're slow, fat, feminine, and overrated.

If the Trojans were in the SEC, they'd lose to Vandy, Ole Miss, and South Carolina every year.

They looked like a pro team against UVA. They are by far the most talented team in America.

One USC game and now they're so fast on defense. Virginia doesn't have enough speed to judge how fast USC's defense is.

Moody was at best 4th on the SC depth chart. I was telling you guys for months that he would be a flop at florida.

you are kidding me. one game? have you seen their nonconference record? how about blowing out arkansas and auburn?

USC does tend to get a little more hyped than it should, simply because of the market it's in. But as Droski said, their non conference record is unreal and they have proven consitently they can play with anyone in the country. This thread is silly. You could say this about OSU or Michigan, as they are consitently bad to mediocre against the powerhouses of the SEC and PAC 10.But USC holds their own when they travel.

both those teams played in the SEC championship game the year SC beat them AT HOME. and i'm sure SC would be more than glad to schedule a home and home with florida or georgia, but SEC teams (sans tenn) are pussies and don't travel out west.

Actually, Arkansas in 06 played in the SEC Championship, & Auburn in 2003 didn't. As far as the argument goes that if USC was in the SEC...blah, blah, blah..is crap. USC is the best team in College Football.
