Tennessee, Florida, and Miami are his early favorites. We haven't offered yet, but his size is definitely a plus.

From a recent Rivals article...
"The coaches like the fact that I am big and they can use me a lot in the Red Zone and I have strong hands," Gallon said. "I want to go to a school that is in a good atmosphere. I want to go to a college where it is all about football and I want to have father-figure like coaches where they will look over me and take care of me."

If that is how he truly feels, he really needs to check Tennessee out.

All signs point to Tennessee, but I really think Miami might push for this guy. He doesn't seem to fit with Florida. Maybe I'm wrong.

Let's hope he can come for a visit soon.

From my understanding this guy is straight to juco, his grades are horrible.

wow staff is really tryin to get that DP package deal goin fa real!

and he will get Tons of more offers during the season. the transfer from Oviedo HS to DP guarantees that he will be on the radar at more schools

the DPHS team is up at Nike 70n tourney this week:
Another player to watch for Dr. Phillips is 6-foot-5, 205-pound wide receiver Chris Gallon, one of Patti's favorite targets. Gallon is fast enough to play outside and catch passes over small defenders or make an inside move and come across the middle. It would be no surprise to see his recruitment pick up dramatically.

That would be sick to have him Milton Hunter and Rodgers to go with the speed of Meline Teague and Z Rodgers next year.
