We'll give this a shot.

US Roster & Point Values:

Keegan Bradley - 3
Steve Stricker - 3
Zach Johnson - 3
Hunter Mahan - 2.5
Bill Haas - 2
Webb Simpson - 2
Jordan Spieth - 2

International Roster & Point Values:

Louis Oosthuizen - 2.5
Hideki Matsuyama - 2
Branden Grace - 2
Graham DeLaet - 2
Richard Sterne - 2
Angel Cabrera - 1.5
Marc Leishman - 1.5
Brendon de Jonge - 1.5

SCORING

Ten points are awarded to each player on the winning team of a foursomes or fourball match; five points are awarded to each player in a halved foursomes or fourball match.

Players on the winning team in foursomes and fourball matches are also awarded points for the margin of victory. For example, a win by 3&1 or 3&2 would both result in three bonus points, while a 5&3 or 5&4 victory would each ensure five. No points are deducted for players on the losing team.

All points above are doubled for the Sunday’s singles matches, so a player winning his singles match 4&2 would receive a total of 28 points – 20 points for winning and eight points for the four-hole victory margin.

TIEBREAKERS

#1 - US - International Point Differential (this would be a negative number if you believe the International team will win)

#2 - Points earned by Tiger Woods (using the actual Presidents Cup scoring; not the scoring here)

#3 - Points earned by Adam Scott (using the actual Presidents Cup scoring; not the scoring here)

I'll update the standings each day. If I have messed something up, please point it out before Thursday.

PAST CHAMPIONS
1994 – United States (20-12)
1996 – United States (16.5-15.5)
1998 – International (20.5-11.5)
2000 – United States (21.5-10.5)
2003 – Tie (17-17)
2005 – United States (18.5-15.5)
2007 – United States (19.5-14.5)
2009 – United States (19.5-14.5)
2011 – United States (19-15)

FORMAT

The Presidents Cup competition consists of 34 matches:
Thursday – 6 Four-ball matches
Friday – 6 Foursome matches
Saturday morning – 5 Four-ball matches
Saturday afternoon – 5 Foursome matches
Sunday – 12 Singles matches

All matches are worth one point each, for a total of 34 points. There are no playoffs for Foursomes or Four-ball, with each side receiving a half point if the match is tied after 18 holes. Singles matches tied after 18 holes will go to extra holes until a team winner is determined. In a change inspired by the events of The Presidents Cup 2003, if the match is deadlocked at the end of Singles play, the competition will be deemed a tie and the teams will share The Presidents Cup.
