It will never go away outside of our fanbase. We are definitely stuck with that for years, I agree.

I'm talking about our fans using it on every thread like it is a new joke after a week of beating it into the ground

0% chance? No. It may be unlikely and irrational to us but that doesn't make it certain to not happen.

Miami fired a national championship coach to hire Randy Shannon.
Tennessee fired one to hire Lane Kiffin.

Just a couple examples, so the logic here isn't air tight.
Not to mention Butch has beaten Vandy twice and South Carolina 3 times
