It’s crazy to me how they get these great receivers with no real QB and great DB’s they will produce in the NFL... but never seem to make a huge impact in college... atleast not the WR’s because of the lack of QB play... why don’t they go where there is an established QB?
However, LSU is bring back a talented kid this year atleast compared to years previous.

Look, kids ****ing love that dude. I can't make out a single word he says, but the kids love him.

History doesn't matter. It's not going to help anyone have a good year. If we can be objective for a moment, the most famous WR in football right now is an LSU alum. The WR with the highest paid WR contract in NFL history is an LSU alum. The TWO nike just put in an ad together: you guessed it, LSU alums. That matters a helluva lot more than bringing up Tyler Brays career.
Sure it does. But we’re talking about LSU, not the NFL. Those guys did very little at LSU because they had no QB and a crappy offensive system. That’s like giving the intern credit that Croom is now the starting TE for the bills

2013 Second Team All-America All-Purpose (Sports Illustrated)

2013 Third Team All-America Wide Receiver and Kick Returner (CBSSports.com)
2013 First Team All-SEC All-Purpose (AP, SEC Coaches)
2013 First Team All-SEC Return Specialist (SEC Coaches)
2013 First Team All-SEC Wide Receiver (Athlons)
2013 First Team All-SEC Kick Returner (Sporting News)
2013 SEC Special Teams Player of the Week (vs. UAB)
2012 SEC Special Teams Player of the Week (vs. Ole Miss)

Lot of special teams in there... very little WR in there tho 🤔

And yet, still the highest paid WR in NFL history. Goodness man, this is a silly hill to die on.
You started this by saying we’re quarterbackless. I’m not dying on a hill. I’m saying they did crap at LSU. That’s true, no denying it. What they did in the NFL is awesome, but are you giving the intern credit for Justin Coleman?

Here’s a better comparison: Alvin Kamara. He’s all NFL everything. He didn’t do anything at TN. But hey, give the intern credit for him too!

you better believe UT uses AK in recruiting material allllll the time.
Of course they do, and they should, but we all know the truth, the intern held him back, as does LSU and receivers.

If nothing else we can point to Chaney who has a history of developing QBs and getting his playmakers the ball. LSU? That’s the place where QBs go to die

I hope you're right, but LSU will turn around and say "our guy worked with Brees, Kamara, Michael Thomas, and Mark Ingram for two years before coming here. We're going to use you like Kamara / Thomas / etc."

Like i said, its all marketing.
Of course, and that’s when, even tho you said the past doesn’t matter, in this case it does. LSU is better than us right now, no doubt, that doesn’t change the fact that QBs never do anything there and as a result receivers don’t either.

We don’t have QBs or WRs doing much here either. Stupid argument.

He reminds me of the coach in overalls in Water Boy. Look up Col Reb is cryin on YouTube, it’s hilarious. And yeah, LSU claim to be WRU, they are at least top 5/10.
