2024 TRANSFER TRACKER

If we get Ruby!!! It will give us another player that can score and defend.. Still need 2 more pieces with her. What is the story with Destinee Wells? Keep the Darby girl off scholarship. Lets not forget Destinee Wells.. She is a a hooper! She was rated No. 13 by The Athletic, No. 15 by ESPN and No. 19 by 247Sports, and No. 23 by World Exposure Report in the 2023 Transfer Portal rankings.

Her name is Edie.

I expect the SEC to be a very tough season not just because of our roster, but because so many teams in the league have gotten better. We have also added the two best teams from the Big 12. I also agree a few teams may be worse than last season. It will come down to scheduling. I figured the schedule based on how it was played last season and came up with we should win about 10 games again. Our road games are probably the best draw we could ask for and the fact we will only play every team once except probably Vandy is also a positive.

The only way I see adding players now making it any better are getting better players in the rotation so there is not a big drop off in talent when you go to the bench.

That is important when one runs the offense and defense that Kim teaches. The less the drop off in then with the second five, the more games she wins.

I’m thinking Dwyer is one of our backup plans.

I’d assume the other is a post but no word on that or if there are any quality posts we are targeting.
Dwyer is absolutely horrible. She cant shoot to save her life. 5-24 7-21 19-62 3pts, shes small. Against the SEC she scored 5 against MS State, 6 pts against Baylor, 2 pts against syracuse zone defense, 6 points against Kenny Brooks Virginia Tech team. St. Johns is recruiting her so she should go there.

Sick of hearing these posters down the darby girls her name is edie and will surprise all of you (both darbys) with this game plan may have to change up some things but they love tenn and this coach so instead of degrading them try some encouragement

Don’t let them get you down. I have read on these boards for years every school HAS SOME fans of that caliber. Not all fans value class and character as evidenced by the concepts they share. Discretion and humility are not strengths either. They do have some odd concept of loyalty as evidenced by the way they group up with likes for their similarly minded buddies. Check them out if you have not. Pretty telling.

Just dont waste a scholarship on the walk on.. That's all we are saying!!!

Tess gets a hard time bc Harper played her in WAY more situations than she should have, particularly when she was supposed to guard a wing in the SEC on defense. It's not really her fault though.

Whitehorn topic in this thread.

She is coming, now she isn't. She is committing tomorrow, could be next week.

Maybe we should move on, now she is committing again.

Paperwork is being signed, she has a faulty pen that doesn't write.

The papers are lost, the ink isn't even dried .

My interpolation of Kim’s interview yesterday is that she is not a done deal yet but they are working very hard to close it.

That’s reading between the lines, but something about her face and the way she answered when asked if her roster was complete and she said they needed “ONE or two players still.” Sounded like she was talking AT the ONE lol.

I think she committed when she visited…. don’t know the reason for waiting to announce it publicly.

She unfollowed the Baylor coaches she was following yesterday. I still think she’s maybe messing around trying to get more money (which is fine to an extent). But that’s going to get annoying fast if it becomes the norm.

Even in the pros that’s just not how it works. I’m not crazy about the idea of kids holding programs hostage for more money. Negotiating is one thing, leading someone on, making promises/commitments and then going back on your word is totally different.

Awful lot of speculation in this post and questioning someone's character without knowing the first thing that's going on between the coaching staff and player.

It could be that reason or it could be something as simple as waiting to announce until she finishes her obligations at Clemson…. She is not taking visits which is a positive sign.
