Willi Castro would be a bit uninspiring with Kim still available. But he was pretty solid in 23 and 24. His SS defense is good enough to start and he also provides good depth should Albies fall on his face again. It really pains me that we haven't signed Kim though. Literally the perfect option...

It doesn't matter. Many of those carries came against weaker teams in garbage time. We've had zero problem in the past with our 3rd and 4th string backs getting yardage. Our non-Sampson RBs averaged over 5 yards per carry last year. Same for 2023 and 2022 with those RB groups.

Mike Soroka sure is making a lot of money for a guy that hasn't been very good or healthy since 2020.

Our RBs that weren't named Star or Bishop collectively averaged less than 3.9 yards per carry. Star is now gone. We absolutely need to improve the RB room in the portal.
