I think the best indication of all-America status is where players go in the NFL draft. By that measure, James Pearce will be a first-team all-American.

I think what happened with Boo Carter is illustrative. If coaches think they're worth paying, they stay. If not, they go. That said, there's a problem with the receivers coaches.

All of the first round CFP games were won by the home team. The first round needs to be moved to neutral sites. Some of the lesser bowls could serve that purpose.
