The crazy thing is looking back to Week 1 is that this was the media narrative:
1. Mike Norvell had turned FSU around from their dismal 2024 campaign
2. Squirrel White was the stud WR that FSU had nabbed from UT and helped win the game vs Bama
3. Kalen DeBoer was on the hot sea and might not...
Yeah, I feel like people have lost the plot.
We started the season losing several of our best defensive players, our starting QB defecting to another school in Spring, us bringing in a quick replacement QB who didn't have much time to learn the system and gel with our players, then having a...
Give it a rest, dude!
We won in the Swamp for the first time in 22 years in what was effectively a blow-out. All you've done is make disparaging negaVol posts about he we didn't score more. Yes, we could have easily run up the score. We didn't, because we were dominating the Gators so much we...
Even Herbie was screwing up names.
I just feel like if you get paid big $$$ to do this every week, it's a huge honor and privilege, and you should KNOW the teams well. Know the player names. Know who plays at what position.
These guys eventually get so famous. stop caring, and get very...
The SEC is brutal these days; the level of parity now is more similar to the NFL. I don't think people realize how good Florida is in spite their 3-8 record. They beat Texas, they nearly beat Georgia, and gave Ole Miss a run for their money. They've had 1 bad game this year (against Kentucky)...
Max needs to hang out with Jackson Ross all offseason. Max is clearly a good kicker, but his nerves get the best of him. Give him an off-season of hanging out with a free-wheeling Aussie; grow out a bad mustache and an Aussie mullet, go swimming in some budgie-huggers while drinking some beers...
LOL at this!
He was, at best, the 8th best DB on our roster and a locker room cancer. Ty Redmond, the true Freshman, is way better than him. And 2 of our best DBs are injured.
If we lose, it's certainly not because we lost Boo.
They always play their best game of the season against us.
And they are way better than their record indicates. Close with Ole Miss till the end. Almost beat Georgia. Most losses to top teams.
The only game they seemed to "quit" on was Kentucky, but you know they are going to come out fired...
G-Mac absolutely feels like a legit P4 QB to me.
The only real question is who will be better: G-Mac or Faizon? I don't know. Don't think we can keep both of them long-term, though.
No chance. He's not leaving a stable situation with Danny White as AD for the s@#$show in Baton Rouge.
But in the extremely unlikely chance he did, we should have Golesh as #1 on our list.
Someone needs to get Gilbert a pair of hot pants!
What I learned last night is that's apparently the key to the kicking game. Who knew?
Let's bring this guy in as an Analyst for Special Teams next year!
Joey is still better than Nico.
This is the first game we were reminded of what Joey was when he was recruited - a gunslinger who could both win and lose you games. He had the most INTs in all of CFB last year. And you saw why in this game.
People are going to blame Heupel, but his coaching...
The "Super Bowl" and "running up the score" comments ooze of butt-hurt.
We literally just ran the clock out at the end of the game in spite of having a 1st and Goal. We could've pretty easily put up more TDs if we wanted to.
And I'm not sure where they're getting the "Super Bowl" stuff. If...
Weird to fire him after a win. You'd think they'd at least wait till next week when he loses to Georgia.
My big fear is that they'll hire Golesh. Don't think Kiffin will go there - Ole Miss will pay thru the roof to keep him.
It's going to be a tricky situation for them. Neuheisel has been great as OC, but he's probably not ready to be an HC. And any HC they hire is going to want to bring his own OC in all likelihood.
