He was a huge get by Barnes, probably the biggest in Texas history, but Barnes also got pretty lucky. That being said, KD was a long time ago for Rick and Texas.

Bruce's problem was that he came in with the reputation as a liar, and then, as soon as the pressure was on, he once again lied. The NCAA was looking for him to lie, and he did so early and often in the investigation. Bruce's big issue was that he lived up to his reputation.
