This is what I was thinking the whole time I was reading their posts. They HAVE NOT played a team like ours. Alabama made the same mistake thinking their D was stout enough and we wouldn’t be able to score on them. 🤷🏼‍♂️ We even made a few big mistakes (the late scoop and score comes to mind)...

A little late to this thread but ill add to it. I was a collegiate athlete (albeit at a much smaller school than UT) and we were taught. If you underestimate an opponent you’ll under-play them and if you under prepare for a competition you’ll always hit your mark. These guys are competitors...

It would be based on bye weeks. I'm not really sure why the discrepancy though. Southern teams tend to take bye weeks later in the year and northern teams tend to take bye weeks earlier in the year, maybe?
