Years ago I was on a tender boat in the Coral Sea going scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia and ran into a guy wearing a UT cap. Definitely didn't expect that in the middle of the ocean.
OMG thanks for the hospitality! I'm really looking forward to this game...it'll be the 13th SEC stadium that I've seen the Vols play in (just have Mizzou to go after this weekend). Hope to see you Saturday!
My wife and I are coming in from Nashville. We are going to Uber in from our hotel in Bryan. If we come by with cash in-hand, will we be able to hang out and buy some drinks off of you guys?
Bought my plane tickets today. The wife and I will be there! Knock A&M off of the list, then I only have to go to Mizzou to get to all of the SEC schools for UT games!
I think they had a OL (he probably also played DL) named Richard Land who I recall went to Texas. We played them junior/senior year (he was my age). He was very tall (maybe 6'7"), but I wasn't that impressed with him.
My favorite part of this is "later rednecks"! It's ok for us TN folk to say that to ourselves, but watch out for anyone "outside" who says it! GBO! See you guys in ATL this December!
Here's a UT football road trip delimma: 2016 poses two great road trips. The Battle at Bristol is probably a once-in-a-lifetime event which would be a bonaroo-type experience. BUT, I've always wanted to go to Texas A&M for a game, and they'll only play there every 7 years. I've seen UT play...
I don't understand comments like this. Some people, like myself, come on here from time-to-time just to get some info on ALL OF OUR VOLS. Sorry if we don't all "know the rules". Who flipping cares if there's another DeBord thread? If you don't like it, then don't click on the dang thread...
