I didn't really mean it as a comparison to Kesling in any way. Loved Ward when radio was the only option but it was just distracting to me when paired with TV. Granted, his job wasn't to be a TV announcer but a radio announcer and he was great at it.

It didn't bother you how far behind the play Ward was? Radio alone, was was fantastic, but paired with TV he's saying "he's churning and the 10, breaks a tackle at the 8, down to the 5,4,3,2,1" after the guy has scored and already handed the ball to the ref.

Historically speaking it would be a surprise if either wins a title. We won one (by the skin of our teeth) in the last 70+ years
