Wallace wasn’t a UT lock as soon as Kentucky offered. We also knew ahead of time that if Kentucky offered, he was going there…which basically meant he was never a UT lock. That’s not the case with Lanier.

He’d easily be our Friday guy. Beam on Saturday and Stamos/Causey on Sunday would be deadly. And who knows, if Burns had returned, maybe Russell doesn’t get hurt and is plugged in on Sunday. Then you have Causey, Stamos, and Zander all available in the pen. This team would be in the same league...

Tennessee should be better on both sides of the ball. The athleticism in the DBackfield is much improved.

According to what his mom said (supposedly, in an interview with KSR), the goal is to get him in position to be a R1 pick. Not sure how going to a G League camp does that. So I’m guessing no.

I actually agree with your overall premise regarding paying players. But no one is suggesting socialism. A salary cap isn’t socialism. There’s no government entity involved. And regulation also isn’t socialism. Further, we have decided in our society that certain sectors are better funded...

That and Heupel clearly loves him.

The actual definition of socialism is government controlling the means of production. Regulation is not socialism. At all. The word socialism is drastically overused in this country as a substitute for a real argument. It’s easier to attack a straw man label than to present a substantive argument.

It’s a no brainer.
