All depends on the impact to team chemistry and our numbers…we do have some depth at that spot but he was the starter…I’ll let the coaches work it out….im good either way it goes. But if I remember correctly Tennessee fired his dad so he may not even be looking to come back.

Everyone wants to play so it’s hard to keep guys who aren’t in the rotation. Hopefully we can keep most of the young guys because we’re gonna lose a lot off the DL after this season.

Pili is healthy and will start ahead of Herring….but given that Herring became the starter after Pili’s early season injury he may not want to go back to being a backup (regardless of what the other young players are doing). He definitely plays at full speed all the time. I hope he reconsiders...

True…in Pass coverage he was a step slow…but definitely a crusher against the run. He would be behind Pili for sure and by mid season might drop behind some of the newer players. i still like him and wish he would stay - he’s tenacious and a hard hitter.

He redshirted last year and I thought he had some nagging injuries. Hopefully he can get well - he’s a talent that fits what we need.

Hopefully his brother is happy here - he has much more upside.

I hate to see him go but he might be a step slow for the LB position…he would be really quick and fast as a DT - just don’t know if he can add the weight (or if he would want to).
