Tennessee basketball is about where I expected they would be. Good talent but all new players in the back court. If they start to gell though, and the 18yo Ament starts to figure things out, look out. I like our size in the front court as well.
Back in the day, we had to walk all the way from the dorms and then up that damn hill. Now, the youngins can just walk across that bridge they put in (softies). Campus is a good deal more 'user friendly' and upgraded from the 80's.
Awesome. Back in the day, my ACT score was horid and my GPA? 3.6. I was a terrible test taker until going to Grad School. Now, with her scores, did she consider other schools? (Ivy league is calling).
Thus far, I haven't been able to predict hires (including when Heupel was hired and the lady vol coach). I expect this hire to come out of left field. As for firing Banks, I won't 'boom' that. It needed to happen but let's just wait and see how it all works out.
The frustrating part is that we lost to every good team on our schedule and struggled against a few others. But yes, losing to Vandy is not embarassing. Tough team. Now, let's get some strong talent in the portal and actually beat some good teams next year. Schedule is only getting harder.
I can see the reasoning behind this. Franklin just couldn't win the big games (i.e. Michigan and Ohio State). Also interested in seeing Campbell with those resources.
