Yup, they're in that zone where Boise St was around 2009 or so.
More than good enough to get geared up for one game and take down absolutely anyone.
Yet not talented enough to do it every week.
Not a good situation to be in long term really
I have this weird feeling in the pit of my stomach we are gonna see Georgia twice this year.
I don't think we will make it to the SEC championship, so that only leaves the playoffs.
I don't think we can take them down twice in one season, so I would prefer to take our shot with the marbles on...
I am curious which crying will be louder-
1. Boulder after the Buffs are kind of a meh team again and Coach Prime bolts after the season.
2. Tuscaloosa after the Tide loses their third game of the year
Believe I would be going to a game as early in the season if at all possible
While I have moved around quite a bit, the older I get the more brutal that cold gets.
Used to get sent to upper Wisconsin for work pretty routinely-it kinda sucked to have to go buy a jacket during Memorial Day...
I have never even seen the show in question either.
That being said, the first time I ever saw Spencer Rattler he was on the sidelines joking about something and laughing with someone else on the team. Pretty innocuous.
I dunno if you remember all the jokes during the NFL draft a few years...
That Oklahoma game in week 3 or whatever looms large.
We get past that one with a W and don't crap the bed against the Gators like usual, we should have a fighting chance for the playoffs regardless of what happens against Bama and Georgia.
I am not disagreeing that football is a dangerous game.
Gotta admit though, I blew out my knee playing intramural flag football in college. The point being that there is no safe place on the planet Earth. You can roll off your couch while taking a nap and be killed if you just happen to land...
Amen
I guess I'm just old school.
No doubt playing football for UT is a rough business, but I think the rewards would be worth it-again, if I had any ability.
A free education and all the bells and whistles is nothing to scoff at in this day and age. Add in that with that on your resume...
Yup.
Nobody ever said being a CFB was easy.
To be honest with you, the last few years I have been able to generate less empathy with all the NIL stuff though.
I kind of miss the Paul Bain kind of guy. Nobody ever confused them for an NFL talent, but they were all in for Tennessee you know...
