Jeff Darlington is a good journalist. I can’t fathom he wouldn’t explain it that way if it’s the case.

The fact that Scheffler drug the cop even a few yards is where this causes pause for me. Is it possible the cop was flexing? Yea. Seems just as likely Scheffler was trying to flex. Definitely seems like Scheffler didn’t try to listen to the cops directing traffic. Wait and see what happens I guess.

Darlington said he drug the officer 10ish yards after “attaching himself” to Scottie’s car. I doubt the officer gets in much trouble
