Stars have always mattered. Yet when people say that alot of people on here get upset. There are less 4 star and 5 star players not living up to their star than their are underrated 3 star players who deserved to be ranked higher. This happens every year. It's why programs like OSU. Bama, GA...
I'd rather forfeit wins over scholarship reductions. I'd also rather just pay a fine and be done with it. So until mid June we won't know what is going to happen.
And who has had a top 2 top 3 at worst recruiting class every year since 2009? Not Ga. Who has been in nearly every playoffs and national championship since 2009? Not GA who has 6 nattys since 2009? Not Ga. Seems like bama is still the standard. I'll agree it's shifting for sure and Saban seems...
It's bama every year for me. Ga can try and claim they are the new bama all they want but fact is they are not. Bama is still the standard and bama is the most important game imo. Ga is second.
I think you nailed it. I don't see us beating bama or ga. I think we lose close 7 points or less in each game. 10-2 for us vols. I just think we need another year to actually compete and have a real chance at winning but that solely counts on us getting these highly recognized recruits we are in...
It changes per year. You can have no more than 85 scholarship players on the team. So if you can get 30 scholarships to reach that 85 then you can. The most I've seen the vols get in a years time was 28 scholarships a few years ago or so.
I don't think the NCAA will do anything crazy Mayberry force us to forfiet the three wins in 2020 and that's it. Anything like a bowl ban and loss of scholarships and the Vols will take the ncaa to court.
