Did Trump reveal classified info to Russians?

These tweets seem to confirm the Washington Post story. Notice, he's now saying that he had the right to do what he did but he's not denying the story like McMaster did.

*****************************

Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump 53 mins

As President I wanted to share with Russia (at an openly scheduled W.H. meeting) which I have the absolute right to do, facts pertaining...

Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump 44 mins

...to terrorism and airline flight safety. Humanitarian reasons, plus I wanted Russia to greatly step up their fight against ISIS and terrorism.

*******************************

That is NOT what McMaster said at all yesterday. Trump is getting a lack of loyalty because he is undercutting his staff. He sends them out to make categorical denials but then contradicts them later.

No, they do not confirm what WAPO reported. Confirms what NBC reported.

One thing is clear. Trump should completely turn over the White House staff to get rid of the leakers. I've never seen leaks like this from inside the White House that are obviously intended to embarrass the President.

Are you sure there is a leaker in this? There is one root story to this, from WaPo, and they don't give a source. It could be a completely fabricated story, and I wouldn't put that past the MSM (WaPo in particular) in their witch hunt against Trump.

Once you've lit the torched, you need to burn something, no matter what.

The Washington Post claims he did and Trump didn't deny it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You claimed that Trump contradicted the denial, and he did not. It was completely in line with it. They both say the same thing, but McM's denial gives further information per whether confidential information was given.

McM said that they discussed terrorism, but Trump didn't share anything confidential or inappropriate.

Trump merely tweeted that he discussed terrorism, just like the President of the United States has a right to do.

You lost your mind and made patently and notably untrue remarks about the exchanges, while believing unnamed sources over the testimony of the people who were in the room.

You're becoming VP.

Why did Trump's own White House officials call the CIA and the National Security Agency to notify them of Trump's disclosures of classified information? You are in severe denial.

I am in nothing but wait-n-see mode. I merely pointed out that you are having trouble processing information, and thus made patently false statements about this.

What I find interesting is that since my last post, I searched "Trump Contradicted McMaster" and got a long list of tweeters making the exact same claim that you did.

They were all wrong too.

You are so rabid for Trump that you've quit thinking for yourself (as evidenced by your lack of ability to process McM's denial beside Trump's tweets), and are instead searching out fellow Trump-haters in hopes that they can feed your rabid need for Trump to be a traitorous president.

It's sad and sickening.

Learn to think for yourself. Eh?

Which ones? What were their names?

At best, strictly by the evidence so far, you can only ask this: "Why did WaPo print a story of such gravity with no named sources, and the rest of the world treated it like proven fact?"

I would ask, "Why have you abandoned critical thinking in favor of ravenous desire for our president to be a traitor?"

But alas... I'll merely ask, "What were their names? Which WH officials?"

Lol he should do it all at once too. God that would be a sight to see.

It's 99% likely it's not someone in the administration. It's a career WH staffer.

I read the WAPO news room erupted in applause as this story eclipsed their Access Hollywood one in page views.

Trump is such an idiot. Just go ahead and bring in Pence, the clown show is over.

WASHINGTON — President Trump boasted about highly classified intelligence in a meeting with the Russian foreign minister and ambassador last week, providing details that could expose the source of the information and the manner in which it was collected, a current and a former American government official said Monday.

The intelligence disclosed by Mr. Trump in a meeting with Sergey V. Lavrov, the Russian foreign minister, and Sergey I. Kislyak, the Russian ambassador to the United States, was about an Islamic State plot...

I think you're exactly right. Thing is, I don't think a lot of people realize that there are career employees even working at the White House other than the pastry chef.

I had a dream about that guy last night. He had three baskets of pastry on his head and the birds kept eating the pastries out of the top basket."

It was weird.

I wouldn't put much stock in McMaster's denial. The language used was highly prefaced. "As the report was written" He denied things which the Washington Post had not even accused Trump of but did not address the real issue - did Trump reveal the city of the source's origin (which could easily lead to their identification).

So, no stock in McMaster's denial that was sitting there but those unnamed sources saying this that wasn't in the meeting are etched in stone?

Makes sense.

I think it's like 80/20 career staff to administration or some bizarre number. My point is, if you do "total turnover" you don't stand a chance in hell of restaffing the WH in any reasonable amount of time. This already gasping-for-air administration would be brought to a halt.

The "unnamed sources aren't real" argument just proves how stupid people can be. I'd like for someone to show me one situation in which major news broke that didn't come from an un-named source. Think Deep Throat.

You're using bad logic to disprove a theory, and then call people stupid. Kudos.

What is your logic? That unnamed sources can't be more reliable than named sources? Watergate is a perfect example of how that is wrong. Mark Felt went unnamed for over 30 years while Haldeman and Ehrlichman went to jail.

I'll give MakeTNGr8 an opportunity to review the logic of his criticism before I do so on his behalf. He went to a pretty prestigious law school that should have trained him up on critical thinking, logic and debate. I'm sure he doesn't need a country preacher to point out the issues with his post.

The President has the power to declassify information at any time he really feels the need

Also, he supposedly shared info about ISIS militants to a country who is helping to destroy ISIS

Seems like the dumbasses in Washington will cry about anything these days

Absolutely right, he did nothing wrong in a legal sense.

If this story is true, he disclosed information obtained from an ally, that was shared with us in confidence, about the precise location of an ally's Spy working inside of ISIS.

But it's his right to do it so that makes it okay.

How much Russia is actually doing to help destroy ISIS is very much in question... and the issue here is what intelligence was shared with Russia about the source (the spy providing the US with our intelligence).
