The problem with the story is that the NAMES were hand typed into a "Investistigation blog" by Annarocket. Titled:Ooltewah High School Basketball Team Rape: Cover Up Or Trying To Get The Story Strait?

With court records that had the names redacted..

No one knows for sure if the names are correct. And even if the names are correct, there is nothing saying this guy is guilty.

Before throwing kids name around into something because of a message board may want to hold horses. That's one of those rumors that can stick with a kids name even if found false.

I mean if someone on vq found it so easily then I would think Brainerd would have known before letting him at their school let alone play sports and be a standout. Then TN and MTSU didn't find anything? So maybe just hold on with the guessing and almighty talk unless something of substance is shown

Grad transfers probably. He said it would be after the spring so that sounds like he may have a few grad transfer options. There's no reason not to use the last 3 scholarships because you can't carry them over. That would be my guess anyway.

He said he wasn't done adding players in this class but wouldn't be till after spring. Sounds like grad transfers and if they don't use all 3 left I'm sure they could use it on him this class. Just guessing on that.

It doesn't sound like anyone here knows more than an unsubstantiated report. It was a horrible situation, but we don't know his real involvement.

I do believe in second chances ... have needed a few myself.

They tried to prosecute them as adults. They should have been. This isn’t a “mistake”.

You had to live under a rock in Chattanooga to not remember this, it made national news. I edited just to put an excerpt from the case for people to read for themselves. The news about the victim and resolution came from local nightly news in Chatt.

So he actively took part in the rape? Yea if that's the case I don't want him anywhere near Tennessee's campus.

I'll say it again. The names in the "blog" where hand typed and posted online. You have no idea if they are correct or if this kid was involved other than what was posted in that "blog".

The court records have the names redacted because the individuals where minors.

People should wait to post this crap until they have the facts 100% correct.

Disgusting, I remember hearing of this in the news when it happened. He needs to be gone yesterday.

I wanted Schiano gone and I want this dude to never be in my line of sight ever.

No it's the fact that there is no credible confirmation that it was him. The only thing out there that names this kid is a blog. If it turns out to be true then say whatever you want but condemning a kid based on an unconfirmed rumor can ruin what is possibly an innocent kids life.

I will never understand posting this kind of stuff without being 110% sure you are correct(as in eyewitness). You are possibly ruining a kids life for what you heard from someone else. What if it was your kid? This country just loves dirty laundry, doesn't matter if it's all true or not the whole damn country just wants to hear it. In the end there may be some truth to the gossip but in almost all cases every person that recited it added a little. I'd like to be able to say I expect better but the sad truth is the world being what it is, this is exactly what I expect.

That’s not entirely true, he was charged. He was one of the three names in the news, that isn’t ‘rumor’, that is fact. Whether he pleaded out, found innocent, or the terms are what is under wraps due to being a minor. He didn’t play his jr year, suspension, was he in juvenile? That part is speculation or hearsay. The crime did happen, not a rumor, how much did this guy partake? I don’t know and frankly don’t want to know bc what happened to the child is sick. Only he knows what he did or didn’t do but HIS name is on the court documents. Doesn’t make him innocent or guilty and he could have been found innocent but he did go to court.
