Saturday's game marks the 97th meeting between Tennessee and Alabama. UT is 38-51-7 vs. the Tide, including losses in the last seven consecutive meetings.

The last Tennessee win over Alabama was 16-13, on Oct. 21, 2006 at Neyland Stadium.

Tennessee won seven consecutive games over Alabama from 1995-2001 and is the only school to defeat the Tide as many as seven consecutive times.

Snap an eight-game losing streak to SEC West opponents since 2011 while marking two wins in the last three games vs. ranked opponents at Neyland Stadium (defeated South Carolina, lost to Auburn in ‘13).

Represent the first win over a Top 5 opponent since a 30-27 win at #4 LSU on Sept. 26, 2005 and snap an 18-game losing streak to Top-5 teams.

Improve the Vols to 9-4 in their last 13 games at Neyland Stadium and even their record at 4-4 in 2014.

End UT’s seven-game losing streak to Alabama dating to a 16-13 win over Alabama on Oct, 21, 2006.

Give the Vols their first win over a Top 10 team since a 51-33 victory at #10 Georgia on Oct. 7, 2006, snapping a 22-game losing streak to Top 10 teams.

Our defense or special teams must have some TD's for us to have a shot. Our offense must not turn it over more than once for us to have a shot. Tall orders to be sure, but that's why they play the game. GBO!!!

I was there in 82 (World's Fair debacle) when Major's beat them and I was there When Peyton did the qb keeper/end around run. Sweet memorable victories, very nice. My have those days of winning gone awry.

Right now, Sober me says, "we have no chance at winning."

A few drinks in around game time will have me saying, "we gonna whip deez panzee azzes!!!"

Wasted me during a Peterman interception will end up with a beer bottle thrown better than he into my 50" tv.

This time tomorrow I'll be investing in a brand new 4k tv to watch my VOLS WHIP SOME AZZES!!!
