I like it all but Hooker. Surely we can do better than that.

If we win the SEC and make the playoffs or win the Sugar Bowl, I think we will end up with a Top 5 class. If we beat Florida and we are still undefeated half way through the season, the 4 & 5* recruits will start rolling in. We just need WINS & everything will be fine. I can't see UT having more than 2 losses next year. We def have the team to do it.

Any QB that Tennessee signs for this cycle is ultimately irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. Any scholarship UT uses on a QB for this class will most likely end up being a throw-away scholarship. The future of UT's football program after Jarrett Guarantano moved on lies solely with GA 2018 5* QB Trevor Lawerence. Lawerence is the future.

I'm thinking maybe drop one OL and one Athlete so we can bring in about 6 on the DL. Need a good class there - especially at DT

I'd almost rather us not even waste a scholarship on a QB this year, especially if we RS Guarantano, which we should. Now if a really talented guy who fits our offense wants in, that's a different story.

Forgive my ignorance: I usually don't follow recruiting until commitments are made. But about 6 months ago or maybe even a year ago there were articles about the #1 QB in the '17 class committing to UT. it seems like his name was Hunter something... What happened to him?

He was lost in a tragic smelting accident. R.I.P Hunter Johnson.

I just came back to acknowledge that. After having his name refreshed in my memory and hearing about this tragic news I googled it. Saw where I'd fallen for a distasteful joke.

I just wanted to say that being a smart ass on here is no big thing. In fact I'm one of the biggest ones on here but IMO that's taking it a little far. Kind of a dick move IMO. The humor was lost on me with this one. If the font had been blue it would've been different. But telling people that a young man is deceased matter-of-factly like that just shows a serious lack of judgement.
