What do you all think about Canales & him already bringing a closeness to these QB's & kids? Seems like a great idea to have a dinner invite at his home to make them feel welcomed & bring them closer together as spring practice has begun. Thanks.

Not unusual. Football is a relationship business. Players work better for coaches who really care about them.

Anyone save the picture of last years? I swear it was at the Cheesecake Factory or something with debord. Debord is a brilliant o coordinator with a chess players mind, but he didn't get the culture.

Good move. However, many football coaches, even in high school have their position players over for dinner. Football players love shrimp and T Bones.

So I heard. The rule that got Pearl a show cause has been changed. But you have to remember that the reason they hit him so hard was because he lied when they asked him about it and asked Aaron Craft's dad to deny being there. The BBQ was a minor infraction in and of itself.

But this is not the topic....
