Tim Priest was livid

The thing about arm chair coaches - had plays been called differently and failed - then the armchair coaches would be saying - why didn't they call play X which they did?

Hindsight allows 'arm chair' coaches to always win and never lose.

Arm chair coaches have no clue what the team practiced. They have no clue what the game plan was. They have no clue as to whether the play failed because of execution or because the other team guessed right.

Arm chair coaches don't put the hard work that this team (which includes both coaches and players) puts in getting ready for the game.

All they are are BIG MOUTHS who think they KNOW EVERYTHING and use that to spin fans into a frenzy.

So tired of some in the fan base.

Peyton Manning was very lucky that he played at Tennessee before social media was prevalent.

"At least go under center"

And when he said "damnit" after the interception

Butch may try and get Tim removed. Can't have anyone who won't carry water. Energy vampires

Yep Butch is the energy vampire. Line up under center and run behind 73. Smith was killing his guy all day!

Tell that to Clemson, tell that to South Carolina, tell that to every team that runs the GUN. Most teams that run the GUN do NOT go under center even when it is 3 and very short.

If we go under the center, fumble the ball or lose 5, I guarantee you all of you are complaining about that.

That ONE series is NOT what lost this game.

When the coach insists on using a scheme that goes against all common football sense and has proven himself doesn't work unless you have a real dual threat QB, he is sitting himself up to be second guessed and rightly so. When people quit caring they will quit second guessing.

Too bad the arm chairs were all right this time.

Hell they didn't even try to run! Not even in the shotgun!

We looked like the Keystone Kops at key moments in this game--as we do every game against florida. If anything, Priest understated our ineptitude.

I also wonder what Priest--a great defensive back in his day--thinks of today's defensive backs. He must be astounded at how bad so many of them are. I think defensive back play has actually regressed pretty over the last 30 years--or maybe it's just us. Soft and not very smart.

I mean, the game was right there to be won--but we prefer to hand victories back to florida.

Do you have any comprehension of football? You have picked the wrong situation to come down on the fan base.

Amen, it just gets old. When you have a hoss like John Kelly you punch it in. You don't play powder puff football.

It started it

It takes a nudge to make the rock roll down hill

After that, I knew we had lost the game. You cant make idiotic mistakes like that on the road.

Then he did it again

The guy is a walking testament of what not to do

Sheer madness. Kelly averaging over 7 yards a carry. We should have had 4 tries to 6 inches on first and goal from the 1. I'm pretty sure Tim and I both said Da**it at the exact same time.

We should have scored there. We didn't. But ...

- That did not prevent the team from coming back and tying the game late.

- That did not prevent the defense from stopping the hail mary pass.

- That did not prevent the defense from knocking the ball out at the last minute during that long run that would have been "game over".

- That did not prevent the defense from intercepting some UF passes to get us a chance.

- That did not prevent Dormady from throwing a beautiful pass to Wolf in the 4th quarter.

- That did not prevent Kelly from dropping a pass and having Tennessee have to settle for a tie rather than take the lead.

That series did NOT prohibit Tennessee from winning the game. Would it have helped? Maybe - maybe not. Truth is folks can play the what if all they want but for every "what if" that works in a teams favor there is a "what if" that doesn't.
