Run on outside?

I told my friend why are we not running on outside? He said he was wondering same thing because LBs were just shooting gaps for run up middle.

I also said you would think with it being so hot we should run it down their throat til they broke. We should have been able to push them around at beginning and certainly by second half with the heat and their lack of depth/talent.

I am baffled by not going under center too. Do not have to have mobile QB to run to outside though. Manning, Luck, and other non mobile QBs have RBs run to outside.

Edit: But they line up under center though right lol
