Red Wolves played the Montana State Bobcats, and won 37-10.

23 First Downs
547 Yards on Offense
Gave up 228 yds on defense

Starting QB Fredi Knighten was 19/29, 219yds, 1 TD, 0 INT
He also ran the ball 16 times for 93 yards.

They have two RBs that combined for 116 yards on 19 carries.

Tres Houston is their leading receiver. Caught 8 passes for 87 yards.

Looks like they've got a fairly multi-faceted offense. QB can run and throw it, just like Keeton, but it also looks like they have some weapons outside of the QB position.

Not as tough as USU, and especially not as tough without Freeze and Malzahn coaching them, but I know Butch will have these guys prepared. It will be another good tuneup game before we hit the ground running.

I think it's fair to assume this Ark St offense will come in more motivated than USU did. Keeton looked flat out there. I'm excited to see this defense tested again before the big games begin.

You are never more motivated than the first game.. Not sure why u said that.. The first time u get to hit somebody u don't know, the better it is.
