Apparently members of the UF coaching staff have taken recordings of our "F U Florida" chant that took place and are sending them to recruits' family members (grandparents, parents, aunts/uncles, etc...). THhis is with the idea of "would you really like your kid to play for a fan base that chants this?" So keep that in mind as we host Bama and try and keep it class.

(Edit after all the smartass responses) The reason I bring this up is that as a member of a student organization on campus we were approached by Butch this weekend to try and encourage the student body not to do this because it's harming recruiting. I too have my smartass responses but since it came from BUTCH JONES himself I thought I'd post.

In return we'll just send a recording of the UF fans chanting "fire Muschamp".

This happens ALL the time in student sections all over the country. You really think a prospect is really going to change his view because of drunk students who are chanting at a football game? It showed that we cared about our football team. Was it right? No, but there's no way it would change anyone's mind. Do you even know that Florida fans were chanting Fire Muschamp? you think they're going to commit to a place where they have no idea who the coach will be.

Anything that has gone on at Florida State with regard to Winston's antics over the past two seasons is FAR more disturbing to any intelligent observer than a college student section chanting the F word.

Not only do people on VN think that chanting F U Florida is harmful to recruiting, but they also think that any obscure post on this niche fan site that is even REMOTELY critical of any aspect of the program/coaching staff is harmful to recruiting. So you shouldn't really be surprised.

The crazy is STRONG here.

UF has ZERO ROOM to talk about any fans PERIOD. I have seen URINE coming from the stands and heard insults and horrible chants in and out of that stadium. Please try to go there Gators, PLEASE!!! Them and FSU are a bunch of self righteous PRICKS!!!! GO VOLS!!!!

What it shows is that the HC will back up your son and defend him to the whole world even if he is a complete douchebag

You know what impresses recruits....102,455 loud and proud. Bring your voice and cheer on the Vols against Alabama.

Send em Muchchump staying on the sideline while his player is taken off in a stretcher while LSU coaches tend to him. Same thing at UT players down Butch goes out to check and muschump watching his like he could care less. Parents of recruits SEEN this and have stated thye realy like how Coach Jones handled it compared to Muschump. GO VOLS!!!!

Muschamp is sending this out because he has nothing positive about his own program to help lure recruits to Hog town.

Winning ballgames, becoming better players through superior coaching and facilities, and players getting to the league.
