Per twitter.

"JONES: I want to challenge Vol Nation to have a quick chant for first downs. (Tweet in your suggestions!)"


Well, you heard the man.The creative juices of volnation came up with Checker Neyland (a beautiful thing), so I think we can answer the challenge.

We better come up with something quick though, before we get another Third Down For What situation...

My personal favorite is Missouri. The worst .... a tie between SC and the air traffic control motions they do at WVU.

I'm not sure they do it all the time, but the PA announcer says "first down M-I-Z" and the crowd follows with "Z-O-U". You can really hear it on the field Mic.

I attended the UT game at Missouri in 2013...I like it but it gets old and annoying quick cuz hearing it 24 times in one night is enough. That game was miserable.
