Seriously though, after this year he'll be in the top 3. I can understand being so low because we haven't won that much. Recruiting is awesome, but need the wins to get him higher.

I have problems with Bielema at #2. Other than that... not an unreasonable, if completely useless, ranking.

Well he did go to at least 2 but I think 3 straight Rose Bowls. That is very impressive. Arkansas looks like they'll have a good year too so I can see why he is that high.

Top 11 are all good. CBB at 3 is just false. CBJ hasn't earned a higher spot yet, though in my opinion he is higher. CDM at 11th is just plain stupid.

The Top 3 in the SEC is Saban, Miles, Malzahn. Respectively.
I'm not sold on Malzahn yet as a overall elite coach. He's an elite offensive mind but I'm not sure on the coach part. He got really really lucky in that first year and finished at a solid 8-5 this past year. Bielema is more proven than him for now.

SEC coach rankings: Saban still No. 1 but 2 through 11 remain tight | Sporting News

3 years from now saban, miles, richt, spurrier, and possibles pinkel won't even be on this list.

I think Butch, Bielema, and malzahn will top the list afterwards

Miles isn't a good coach either. He's a very good recruiter but marginal as a coach.

How good of a recruiter do you have to be at LSU? It's not like UT were you have to pull kids from across the planet.
