These programs have not met since the Vols posted a 44-31 victory in Knoxville on Jan. 5, 1946.

The most points that either team has scored in the series is 48 (by Tennessee, twice). The most combined points in this series is 88 (UT won 48-40 in 1945).

Thursday’s game is Marshall’s regular-season opener. The Herd went 1-1 in exhibition play.

Make the Vols 2-0 at home this season.

Improve UT’s all-time record vs. current members of Conference USA to 31-18.

Extend Tennessee’s November home win streak to 56 games. The streak began in 1996.

Give Rick Barnes a 21-1 career coaching record against current members of Conference USA.

Tell that to UT Sports

If I need the Internet to watch it, it's "online."

If all I need is a TV, it's TV.

UT can call a cat a dog but it doesn't make it so.

But we are talking about a place that wanted to call people "zir" so I'm not surprised they are telling people the Internet is television.

Has to be $.

Perhaps when they use more than 1 channel it cost them?

Really have no idea, as much money as they spent to launch the network, and as dedicated as they seemed to show SEC content, you wouldn't think money would be an issue broadcasting a live event. Couldn't cost much more than doing so online.

I ended up buying a Roku, and have been able to watch in full HD with no delay or lag, but didn't really want to spend the money.
