Well whatever happens I hope they keep the troughs. They are a proud institution and a very efficient method of disposing of all that processed alcohol.

Here are some images. Notice that the visiting team will be coming out of the corner which makes it harder, I would've thought, to bust the running through the T

The "Vol Navy Entrance" will be a stunning addition. That's always been the least-awesome side of Neyland.

excellent news for the big money donors. No rush to fix the dilapidated east side. The plebes can just deal with it for another 20 years until we get the money for "Phase 2." By then, though, Phase 2 will probably need to be pushed back so we can renovate the west side again.

You're telling me lol. South end zone is awful.

Are they removing the overhang in upper levels (Xx, Yy, ZZ) and changing those to bleachers? Do not see it mentioned, but looks like those are not in the renderings.

Its all about the haves and haves-nots. They'll probably squeeze another 1-2" out of each seat and force everyone to stand (unless you're 9 years of age or younger and your behind can fit into a cereal bowl).

What's with the orange fence along the south EZ? So the carve into the stadium and replace it with a fence and that's supposed to be safer? I see many a cartwheel by WRs.

No that's like standing room for field level suites.

But yeah I can see wide receives flipping over into some fans too lol.

I'll be interested to see where the visitor fan sections gonna be, right now it looks like the plan is to flip the alumni section over other other side where the visitors sit now. I can't imagine it's a good experience for our alumni to have the visitor fans behind them in their ears.
