I see it one of two ways:

1. We play like we did vs App St. and Ohio. Struggle, and only win by one score or even lose and end up right where we were last year. (Literally- see 2015 USCe game)

2. We come out pissed and (relative to our situation) healthy. We blow the doors off of South Carolina at their house and get our momentum back to run the table to finish off the year.

Which one do you guys think happens?

Get back to me in a week when I see who is back and ready to go.

Statistically scar is one of the worst teams in FBS. We should win fairly easily regardless.

They're downright terrible offensively, and a little better on defense. I think it resembles the Ohio game, largely due to how banged up we are. Unimpressive and unconvincing, but never truly in doubt. About a 10 point win imo.

If Cocky can get by UMASS this week, then the Vol game becomes a must win for their bowl eligibility.

Then, they will likely play with a desperation that could be dangerous if we are still beat up.

If they lose to UMASS, which they could find a way to do, then we will roll them because their season is functionally over.

I think it will be a 21-10 or 21-13 type game. Similar to their game vs A&M. They're not very good, but they have just enough talent to keep games against superior opponents within range.

They've obviously dominated the field so far this year:

East Carolina 20-15
Vanderbilt 13-10

They will be playing UMASS this week, while all of our players will merely be healing and getting angry to close out the season 5-0.

I can't yet tell which team has the advantage...

They're 2-4 but no one has beaten USC convincingly yet.

Then again.. their losses are Miss St., UGA, Kentucky and A&M

Mississippi State by 13 yes that Mississippi state
Kentucky by 7
Texas A&M by 11
UGA by 14

So yes pretty much everyone convincingly beat them outside of Kentucky...Vols going score early and often!!!#WGWTFA

Here is the way it will go.
1) There will be a coin toss: one team wins the coin toss, they will elect to defer to the second half.
2) Tennessee will score on its first 6 offensive possessions, the game will be over effectively, Dormady gets to play most of the 3rd and 4th quarters.
3) Tennessee will get in my favorite formation and take a knee. Game over
4) Next up

They're like Vandy last year. Every game is within 2 scores.

Then again we beat vandy last year 53-28 (53-14 before garbage time) so

should be a win, but wouldn't doubt it'll be a tough game...heck, you know they'll be pumped with us hobbling in and it would make their whole season...and, as always...

GO VOLS...GET WELL SOON!

Think it will resemble two one armed one legged men in a boxing match. USC is fairly hapless but we are greatly reduced by attrition.

We win!

Great to see a thread moving past Bama.

Because of the injuries, glimpses of team 121 will be on display.

The Vols win if: Jalen Hurd suddenly starts looking like Jalen Hurd of last year and Dobbs runs the ball more.
If the Vols turn the ball over they will lose a close one in Columbia and dash their hopes for memorable season

I just don't feel good about this game on the road with all the injuries.
Is Muschump & SC a shark in the water, waiting for the wounded Vols?
