Next weekend is our first junior day. It will be headlined by many of our top in-state targets. I figured I would go ahead and start a thread with a list. Some of our top targets also play basketball and won't be able to make it this time. If I missed someone, tell me so I can add them.

Would love to see a commitment from Harris, Kellogg or Litaker. Be awesome to have 3 of the top 10 in state guys committed. Anybody think there's a chance we get one next week?

Callahan didn't seem overly optimistic. He said he would be surprised to see Harris do something, but wouldn't rule out Kellogg. Anything can happen once they're on campus though.

No its too early. Way too early. Would rather they wait than suffer a possible decommit later.

Based on the recent interview posted in his thread, Litaker sounds like he wants to take his time and commit late in the process.

Would be thrilled with Kellogg if it's just him. Have a feeling he's going to blow up

Here's my prediction of which in-state players we close with:

- 5* Cade Mays (OT)
- 4* Maxwell Iyama (OT)
- 4* Alontae Taylor (WR)
- 4* Camron Johnson (WR)
- 3* Tykee Kellogg (WR)
- 3* Justin Oden (WR)
- 4* Master Teague (RB)
- 4* Brendon Harris (DB)
- 3* Jaylon King (DB)
- 4* Greg Emerson (DT)
- 4* Brant Lawless (DT)
- 4* D'Andre Litaker (DT)

12 total signees. 1 five-star, 8 four-stars, 3 three-stars.

Would be an ideal in-state haul.

I like this list. But.. That's one more wr than were projected to take. I think likely two of those wr will not be Vols, along with one db(hopefully we get Harris), and one dt(I'm hoping we can take all of them but don't see it).

Oden seems to really like Memphis, I believe Kellogg, Johnson, and Taylor will make up our WR haul for '18.

Oden will not be apart of this class if other two wr commit.
Really good instate class. I have seen enough of Emerson and Lawless, Both are easily top 100 players in country. Emerson 5 star talent all the way. I hate that he plays on a bad team in a bad league. Would love to see him play in Murfreesboro

I doubt we get 4 in state WRs.

The staff has shown over the past few cycles that they trust their evals and are willing to go in on some lower rated WRs from other areas. Wouldn't surprise me if they end up passing on a guy like Kellog or Oden if they feel they found a better fit elsewhere.

Also, I'm not sure we get a clean sweep of the three in state DTs either (though obviously that would be a great hall for us).
