I believe this guy is good. Hes tearing up his conference with crap talent and a 3rd string QB. His star defensive player used to play QB. The man can flat out coach.

Excellent candidate. I just don't see how we get past the buyout issue.

However, the rumor is almost certainly false as Iowa State still has a game to play against Kansas State. Coaches with current jobs don't interview before the regular season is over. I guarantee Campbell is currently focused on making the best bowl game he can.

He's done some big things this year. He has a higher buyout than Butch though. Currie would need premission from ISU to formally interview him.

Purdue is still fighting for bowl eligibility in week 13 (5-6).... If were gonna hire a 6-6 Big 10 coach we might as well have kept Butch.
