Florida's offense is based on hitting the 3 point shot so UT needs to guard the 3 point line Wednesday night.

On another front, UT will not see Andy Kennedy on the Ole Miss sideline Saturday because he stepped down today and Tony Madlock will be the interim coach for the rest of the season, according to ESPN.

Bowden needs to have a good defensive game and it won't surprise me to see a lot of Pons. Maybe Jalen Johnson will get some minutes as well. TN needs to defend the 3 and not let Florida take offensive rebounds.

I want to see schofield (spelling?) get greedy for rebounds. If Faulkner did the same he'd get a lot more playing time if he never scored a point.

FL's 4 leading scorers are 2 JR and 2 SR guards. Two of them are 6'5" (and 6' and 6'2").

Turner gets in early and often. Alexander is either going to be a matchup problem or an advantage if he can contribute on the offensive end. If FL's 3s are falling then TN can't keep Schofield, Alexander, and Williams (or sub out for Fulkerson and Walker) on the floor together for very long. I wonder if Schofield/Pons (or Bowden) can guard the 6'5" Russian?

Some 1-2-2 or 3-2 zone perhaps? Or 1-3-1 or 2-2-1 with Alexander the low "1" protecting the rim? Bottom line, if FL's 3s are dropping (and they get on the FT line), we're screwed.

Hopefully a good, loud crowd tonight shows up. Judging by the ticket site though, it won't be a big crowd. Thousands of seats available in upper deck in most all sections. Hopeful for a nice walk up crowd, good weather.
