Is anyone SUPER excited about football already?

I've been Youtubing all day watching highlights and I've got the itch super bad. I honestly think we have the team this year to make a run for at least a BCS bowl. I can't wait. Sorry for the lame thread but I couldn't contain my excitement. GO VOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:eek:k::):rock::pepper:

You should never have to apologize for your excitement for the Vols on a Vols fan site.


I've made it a tradition to, every Friday when I get home from work, to play Rocky Top and sing along. I'm sure my neighbors have no idea what is going on.

going to a concert tonight and tailgating with some Auburn and Clemson grads, my playlist has Rocky Top in it like 5 times!! not to mention my UT cornhole set...

Actually, I misspoke... it's the entire UT Pre-Game set.. about 10 minutes worth. I just turn it up during Rocky Top.

make sure you include the Phish version of RT. It always gets some weird looks even from UT fans

doubt they'd go for all that... I do however have Charlie Daniels cheesy "Volun-Tears" song and his live from Iraq Rocky Top.... and Kenny Chesney's "Team of Destiny" all on there.... lol

You know it! I did the same thing last night. I think I watched a little over 2 hours of youtube videos about Tenn football! I can't wait!

Me and my UGA buddy have been talking about the upcoming football season ever since the last one ended. It's mostly meaningless trash talk, but my point being... Yes. I am very excited. :yahoo:

National signing day - Check
March Madness - Check
Spring Practice - Check
O&W game - Check
NFL Draft - Check
College World Series - Next
MLB All Star Game -
Players Report -
Fall Practice -

And then it's on. Every milestone is just one step closer.

I spent I don't even want to know how long the other night watching and rewatching The Fumble on youtube.

The flag goes up on the car August 1.

Whats weird is I'm exactly the same way. 9 months isn't a long if you can take it one month at a time.

Except I follow OTAs and Training Camps for the NFL too for some added flavor.

I'm the same way except I include the annual College Football Magazine Preview Season in there around June. I think I buy just about every one of them. Phil Steele's is the best though. They just add fuel to the fire and make July and August that much longer.

I'm bigtime ready. We are in the doldrums right now and this is my least favorite time of year sports-wise. I could give a crap less what the Spurs or Padres are doing..............Bring on some FOOTBALL!!!! :rock:

I think i will go ahead and get my other hip replaced right now. that way by the time i come off the meds:p it should be right around kick off time in tenn.
