Holds offers from Tennessee and Georgia Tech. Says his dream schools are Oregon and any Florida school. Didn't camp this summer, but said he will visit Tennessee with his parents soon.

Teammate of highly touted 2014 DB Jalen Tabor. Also 2014 ATH Jonathan Haden.

Friendship always seems to have a loaded team. At least talent wise.

"I still have two offers from Georgia Tech and Tennessee, those are the two I know of right now," he said. "My coach says I have more, but he wouldn't tell me yet."

"I know Wisconsin has asked for transcripts," he said. "I also know Michigan State, Florida State and Notre Dame have been looking."

"My dream schools are Oregon and Florida State," he said. "The reason I like Florida State is because of their defense. They have a tough defense and they recruit well in the defensive backfield. I think I could be one of those prospects for them next year.

"As for Oregon, it's their uniforms and the way they play and put up points on teams. They don't have too many defensive players and I could be a nice defensive player to make an impact for them."

"My top five would be those two along with Wisconsin, Tennessee and Georgia Tech," he said. "My first offer was from Tennessee and my teammate Jalen Tabor also likes Tennessee. We talk about it, if we'd go there together.

"I like the city of Atlanta. I've been there once before, but not to the campus at Georgia Tech. I'm always hearing it's so nice.

"With Wisconsin, it just seems like they are giving me a golden ticket. They were the first school to ask for my transcripts and I think they could be offering soon. They are showing a lot of interest and sending the most mail now."

"The season is going well," he said. "I just got the starting position at safety. I was playing a lot of special teams as I got more used to the system here.

"I've started the last couple weeks and I can tell I've really improved my skills. Every day I'm getting better and my footwork has improved. It's a step-by-step process and I just know where the ball is. I've gotten better."

I think that secondary recruiting will be key next year we can use all the help we can get. I would say that we need at least 3 CBS and 3 Safeties and maybe even a couple of athletes who can play nickle for us I wouldn't mind seeing at least 8 dbs next year or even ten. We need a ton of help back their.

Bump. Looks like we did offer under Dooley.

He's the teammate of two highly touted DB's (Payne and Tabor).

Nice, and Flowd even mentioned Haden in the second post. How often has a team sent 4 kids (3 in the secondary) to the same BCS school? I would imagine it can't be that often.

Daejuan Funderburk has three favorites, Wisconsin, Florida State and West Virginia are atop his list, he knows three visits coming this spring will be to Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Rutgers.
“I want to decide by the end of July, beginning of August, so I won’t have to worry about it during the season,” Funderburk said. “That way I’ll have everything set up.”
However, before that visit he will spend time at Vanderbilt and Tennessee. He is set to see both March 23.
“With Tennessee, I’m going to see their staff, their defensive coordinator, and what type of defense they run. Vanderbilt, I’m going to see the same things, and their depth chart because I really want to get out there (on the field) my freshman year.”

Never a good sign for Vandy when a kid is going to see them and us in the same day/weekend. It's like seeing a naked pic of Kathy Bates and then seeing some of those ASU pics posted in another thread right after.

I did not know Tennessee was F-Burk first offer, that's hold meaning and his boy Payne already committed, liking our chances if we want him. Good looking KB, we could end up with Tabor as well, could be DC secondary and TK2. Gaulden or Truitt in there As well. Love getting a badas$ secondary. Our big fellas will fall in soon so no one worry!!

This....
@D_Realest7: Going To Tennessee On The 19th #GoVols

Plus, twitter background is UT, although, regrettably, Dools is in the background. Whatever.... would love to pull this kid.

Edit: upon further review, can't tell if he's highlighting LSU or us in the pic.
