Chris Jackson? Uhhh... they got the wrong LSU Tiger at #1 (Pistol Pete). If they made an exception for Magic Johnson, they should have had Pistol Pete.

2 LSU players on the list, and the Pistol doesn't make it- amazing.

I remember the game they mentioned with Magic Johnson against Kentucky. I was 10.

The Cats held Johnson, then known as Earvin, to 6 points on 2 of 10 shooting. It was pretty amazing stuff.

It was also a nailbiter. Kyle Macy drilled 4 free throws in the last minute to finish the comeback from being down double-digits at halftime.

lol i sent a email to the writer and here is his reply. I'm glad he answered i didnt expect one. He answered over night
king absolutely should have been number 3. i came across his stats
late in the game. but with regards to doing enough research, please
go to Bomani Jones and see how the list was compiled.
'twas a monstrous project.

but i asked my editors to put king at #3, but they got the email too
late.

Bernard King was one of the greatest basketball players "period". I still remember how John Ward would call the games when King played; "...inside to King, double teamed, now triple teamed, spinning, whirling, fallaway 15 footer in the air...BOTTOM!".

Super quick. Why he has never returned to UT is beyond me.

Yeah, he doesn't want to have anything to do with the Vols for whatever reason. Several have tried to contact him.
