from the NFL scouts per Arians Mother.

A lot higher than I expected and I expect him to cash out now.

I don't see him going that high. He's a good receiver and a pretty good pass blocker. He's pretty slow for an NFL back, though.

Great for him. If he is a 2nd round projection then he should go. His stock won't improve much and he has a great opportunity in front of him.

If he's a second rounder now, then he could use another year of school to his advantage.

I cant see him getting any higher than 2nd round and I have a hard time seeing that.

For a kid that wasn't recruited that heavily out of high school, I imagine he's pretty excited about this projection, if this is really true. He may end up jumping at this opportunity.

And end up like Danny Ware. I dont see it happening either.

If he has a good year in '08 (1200+ yrds), he'll be at/near the top of every RB list on the board next year... with no Dmac or anyone else in the way.

He'll be no faster next year than he is now. If he's confident he'll be picked in the second round, he should be on the first plane out of Knoxville.

He is a second/third rounder i.e. maybe second likely early to mid third. A mom would call that second round without the qualifier. Mendenhall has already declared just a couple more to go and he is a for sure third rounder maybe even 4th. But I personally wish him the best what ever he does and will be his fan.
