How do you guys think he would be for head coaching material he is a tennessee boy and i would love to take him from alabama. He has shown to be a great recruiter and their defense is always strong. Now i Know everyone wants new blood for the program but i think this guy could be a very good head coach. what do you guys think.

Given the inbred nature of how coaches are chosen at UT, I imagine Steele will be near the top of the candidates.

Steele coached the linebackers under Tom Osborn and Bobby Bowden. He developed players like Micheal Boulware and Ernie Sims, not to mention the linebacker group the went to the NFC Championship game with the Carolina Panthers. He's a UT alum, I think we have to go after him. His track record on the recruiting trail is jaw dropping, I think he has been Rivals.com's recruiter of the year at least 2 times.

I'm a big fan of Steeles, he has head coaching experience at Baylor and he has had success at every level. It would be huge if we could bring him here as a DC under Kiffin. That way we have a recruiting pipeline to both California and Florida, the 2 of the most talented states in highschool football.
