I thought it was a great interview. He was informative, gave good answers, and was actually pretty funny.

the things that stood out to me were

he said they would have to work with the QBs they have

going to be able to run more than what he did at Purdue

he wanted to come to the SEC

and coming from the NFL is a great benefit to recuriting

he was very well spoken too

Chaney, is the man. He was actually pleasent to listen to, unlike the previous staff. After listening to him, I am extremely hopeful for 2009 season...GO VOLS!!!

Straight -up talk, even reading between the lines the experience and intelligence just crackles.

I believe he will compliment Coach Kiffin very well.

The offensive side of the ball in going to be a lot different in 09.

GO VOLS.

This hire may be one of the better, amongst many good hires on this staff, that doesn't get the buzz it deserves.

I agree. Chaney didn't get too much pub being a position coach at STL but looking at his track record at Purdue, he knows his stuff.

After CLK hired him to the staff, I was listening to Bruce Feldman discuss the UT hires, when talking to Big 10 DC's, Chaney was overwhelmingly voted as the toughest to defend against while he was at Purdue.
