I'm getting me a pair. Wonder if any local shoe stores would be carrying these or will they be sold just from Nike website? Thanks!

I would like a pair too but damn, they're too beautiful to wear. I would just put them on display in my man cave (if I had one). LOL!

$145 + tax from the Nike website. That's probably what they're gonna be too if sold in stores. I'm getting a pair regardless. Probably won't wear them too much to keep them looking pretty like a poster said before.

What? Nike produced something UT related without checkerboards!

Those are sick but like others said I'd have to display them in my Vol Cave instead of wearing them around to get dirty.

I'm too cheap to spend $145 on sneakers.

Especially Nike sneakers.

Nike shoes are good. My mother bought me a pair with orange in them for Christmas & they are the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn.

They are low cut shoes & meant for running but I wear them for everyday needs. Love them. I think she paid $65 for them at JC Penny's.

Those a neat. I haven't worn high top shoes since the days playing football.

Those aren't true high tops. They are considered mid tops. Not trying to sound picky but that's what it says on the Nike website about them. Thanks.

I'm guessing he's meaning the disgusting profit margin that Nike is known to have on sneakers that are made by grossly underpaid workers. And also that the entire overpriced market that exists for basketball sneakers is solely due to Nike.

2 decades ago I learned that for every pair of Nike shoes made whether they are sold for $65 or $175 it only costs them $5 to make them. That says nothing about the quality of their footwear though. Nike has been one of the more respected brands on the market and it's not just because they make huge profits, they actually produce quality footwear.

It's not just Nike though, that's every brand name company known to man that does that.

The web site clearly states that these are high top basketball shoes.

Read the title though from the website. The say mids. Not in the description part where all the photos are just the link for that part.

It says mid unless they have since fixed/changed it. I do know that it did say mid though back when I 1st posted the shoes for viewing. It was opening day on the market. They certainly look like high top shoes from the photos for sure. Thanks.

I'd consider them high tops to people that don't wear them on a regular basis, but they do appear to land below the ankle, whereas high tops come up even with the ankle
