I say we get in the 4-2-5 bring 2 safeties up close, let one play back deep, and keep the blitzes coming. Hit Grier early and often. They're gonna hit some plays but if we keep putting Grier on the ground, he'll make a mistake or two. As long as our offense can give our defense some time to rest, the defense will do fine. Bring the heat though, pressure pressure pressure. If we get beat a few times deep so be it, but don't let Grier have time in the pocket. Light him up, press the receivers, and throw off their timing. Then run it down their throats.

Doesn’t matter with a healthy Tuttle in the middle.

Yes. Ideally the d line gets pressure without blitzing, but I like the idea of someone hitting Grier every snap. Maybe even a few roughing calls as long as they're good hits. Show e'm how serious an SEC defense can be compared to the Big 12.

Just because they're big doesn't mean anything does it? I mean anyone can recruit BIG buys but if you're a slow BIG guy then your QB is screwed..

That's one massive meat shield. With the type of offense they run I expected a much smaller group

Yes but on the flip side being technically sound without the size is not ideal either.

Starting to think I'm bi-polar.

On the other hand, that explains the source of the hoof and mouth outbreak.

(sorry for double-posting. FireHD is quirky)
