The good:
Not much to report here
The JG and MC injuries were not career ending
Chryst got a chance and showed he is an adequate back-up. His play should (SHOULD) silence his critics and his avid supporters
It was a nice weather day

The BAD:
A thorough ass kicking by a 2nd tier SEC team
Another botched on side kick
The officiating was horrid
The Vandy game becomes important

The UGLY:
There was no progress. In reality, the team went backwards
There was no sense of urgency
There were several coveted recruits that were there to witness the Royal Mongolian Wesson Oil Party that was supposed to be a football game
Made Drew Lock look like a Heisman contender
Nothing to build on
Pruitt continued his fashion statement for DonDiego

Game was closer than the score. The first interception was probably a 10 point swing as we were in fg range and misery got a long return and ended with a td, then the fumble return for a td. Take away those mistakes and the score was close enough to be a game until misery's late score.

Number 6 had a rough night and Locke picked on him continually, but the real problem was the turnovers and our inability to stop the run. Every SEC coach says it's hard to win if you can't stop the run and we didn't. To take that next step this team is going to have to get some D players capable of stopping the run

It wasn’t remotely closer than the final score. It was a physical beat down where Missouri scored 50 points despite dropping 2 surefire touchdowns. Could’ve easily been 64-17. At no point did Tennessee have a chance in this game. Missouri did whatever they wanted on both sides of the ball all day long because they completely controlled the line of scrimmage and because they had one of the 2-3 best QBs in the conference. That was a complete, thorough beatdown.

And newsflash to anybody who doesn’t know....Vandy played Mizzou toe to toe a few weeks ago and should’ve won the game. Another beat down is coming next Saturday for the Vols.

The game was not closer than the score. We looked beat when it was 6-0 in the first quarter. Let's not even talk about Keller chryst, if capable back up means coming in and throwing interceptions than sure. He killed us and our oline absolutely let him get killed. Our defense was pathetic and my 7 year old tackles better than that **** I watched last night.

This team is the definition of a bipolar football team if I've ever seen one. Some weeks it seems botch and his clown staff is still out there coaching football.

They knew our weaknesses and exploited them.. We have maybe the worst lines in the SEC on both sides of the ball. Butch Jones was a miserable failure and didn't leave Vol ball any better than he found it. That's why giving every ham and egger joke of coach that comes along 5 years to go backwards is a bad idea. You cut bait when you find out you have a clown for a coach. Hope we take note next time. He signed two classes that have no business playing in this conference, and we're reminded of it every time we play a team that can do more than push the pile for 3 yards and cloud of dust.

Chryst was 7-19 and 98 of his 173 yards came from spectacular catches by Callaway. The horrible pick at the end of the 2nd quarter was the crucial play of the game. First INT we've had since the Florida game.

The OL is still weak, only a year or two of strength and conditioning is going to change that. We won't be a good team until that happens.

Definitely didn't botch the inside kick. We had a great shot at the ball, and the worst that happened was Missouri got the ball at their own 35. If those are the 2 outcomes, kick ok inside every time

Hall was just a bit too quick for him.

A lot of things went bad for the team. I think this will pizz them off enough to come mean and with a purpose next week.

Gone are the days of Tennessee being outcoached by Vandy.

We need to shut down their star RB Vaughn and contain Shurmur. It won't be easy but it will be way easier than doing so against Mizzou.

We should have at least 60% of the crowd pro-Tennessee fans, 20% both fans and the rest Vandy fans.

Come on OL, be at least average next week. Darrell Taylor, we need another multi-sack game. Lock um down CBs. JG and MC get healthy ASAP.

Just how frickin close was it? Those weren’t fluke turnovers. Mizzou knocked the ball out of RBs hand and Chryst had pressure is why he threw it when he did. Fluke turnovers are fumbled snaps, botched handoffs, etc where you get a turnover based on nothing you did in defense but fall on a ball. Mizzou could have scored more if they’d wanted. Geeze,

Yep alot of these SEC games the past 3 yrs have been lost due to the lackadaisical attitude around the strength and conditioning program, playing musical chairs with S&C coaches and lack of commitment by the players.
