Interesting shakeup to 2020 schedule

Auburn has been wanting to move their game with Georgia to earlier in the season and away from the Alabama game.... It looks like we will be playing Georgia in November from now on (the week we have been playing Missouri since 2012) and the Georgia vs Auburn game will now be the week that we have played Georgia since 1996 (first week in October).

Umm why would we want Florida after the grinder at Bama? seema like we would want the chance to play a tough in conference opponent while fresh.

Yup FBS Schedules has us playing Mizzou on 3 Oct. And at Oklahoma on 12 Sept.

Knowing our luck, it will probably be a crazy 7-9 game stretch with vastly improved Arkansas team:

5 Sept Charlotte
12 Sept @OK
19 Sept Furman
26 Sept FL
3 Oct Mizzou
10 Oct @GA
17 Oct AL
24 Oct SCAR
31 Oct @ark
7 Nov KY

14 Nov Sun Belt Team perhaps
24 Nov Vandy
1 Dec Bye

We want to play Mizzou in Sept when it isn't too cold up there and Florida in Nov when it isn't too hot down there.

Ideally we can be wedged between a road game against SCAR and the FSU game for Florida. And get Mizzou early when they seem to start out rusty.

I liked how Mizzou wasn't listed among the SEC schools.

I think they went ahead and listed it because the game already had a date.... "the cat was out of the bag already".

I guess that could be a pun as well since we are talking about tigers.

Mizzou has their entire 2020 schedule listed on fbschedules.com
